COURSE DESCRIPTION: This will be a 16 hour course which will include 5 hours of HIV/AIDS and other communicable diseases.  5 Hours of Sanitation and Sterilization, 4 Hours of Scalp Disorders and Diseases, and 2 Hours of Laws and Rules of the board which govern the practice of Hair Braiding. 

COURSE OBJECTIVE:  This course is designed to introduce hair braiding.  The objective is to qualify individuals as hair braiders and to help students  meet all requirements  for approval by the Board of Cosmetology.
